HA VINH Lisi
For nearly 30 years, Lisi has devoted herself to children and young people living with disabilities, serving as an art-therapist and special educator. She spent 12 years with her family in a Camphill Community, caring for seven youngsters living with disabilities.
She is currently living between Switzerland and Vietnam. Alongside her husband Tho, they cherish their role as grandparents to five grandchildren, and great-grandparents to one great grand-daughter.
Lisi is actively involved in peace movements, including the Global Peace Initiative of Women, and also leads retreats including the yearly Chandolin retreat every summer in the Swiss Alps.

He was the Program Director GNH center Bhutan from 2012 to 2018.
As former Head of Training, Learning and Development at the International Committee of the Red Cross, he has trained humanitarian professionals working in war zones and emergency response in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
He is a visiting professor in adult education and humanitarian work in several Universities (UCL/Belgium, Geneva/Switzerland, Schumacher College /UK, Hue University / Vietnam.
He is a well-known international speaker on GNH, Happiness and Wellbeing and beyond GDP for education, business and communities.
Together with his beloved wife, Lisi, he is the co-founder of Eurasia Foundation (http://eurasia-foundation.org), a humanitarian NGO developing educational programs for children and youths living with disabilities, as well as ecological projects in Vietnam for 20 years.
He is a Fellow of the Mind and Life Institute/USA, and a member of the Presencing Institute/USA).
He wrote the Happy Schools in Vietnam Curriculum an innovative educational program introducing Mindfulness, Social and Emotional Learning and Care for the Planet in the Vietnamese education system.
He consults with companies wanting to implement Gross National Happiness principles in their organization, including B. Grimm /Thailand, Happy Mandala / China and BITIS / Vietnam.
He is the author of several books and many articles.

Hong arrived in Switzerland in October 1973 for university studies (HEC), after the regime change in Vietnam in 1975.
Hong was chief accountant in an English company established in Lausanne for 15 years, stopped professional activity in 1992 and has remained active since then as a volunteer (secretary and treasurer) for the Vietnamese community in the Linh Phong Buddhist Association in Ecublens. Hong is part of the Vietnamese and French-speaking Sangha following the teaching of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, from Plum Village.
Hong has been a member of Eurasia Association and Eurasia Foundation since the very beginning.

Edith is senior programme adviser within ELI. She is the co-director of the Certificate of Advanced Studies ( CAS) ” Happiness in organisations”, developped in partnership with ELI and the Geneva Management School and the leader of the Happy Schools Programme in Switzerland.
Edith holds degrees in Public and International Law, Political Science and Humanitarian Action. She has a PhD in comparative public law.
Since 2005, she was involved in training for Aid workers as training manager ( Bioforce; Eirene Suisse; Isango). She joined the CERAH (University of Geneva-Graduate Institute) in 2010 as training coordinator and deputy director.
She conceptualized and was one of the leaders of the Humanitarian Encyclopedia Project.
She has worked in fragile context and post-conflict areas for over sixteen years, in the field and at headquarters.
She used to facilitate transformative processes (collectives and institutional) and coordinate collaborative and transdisciplinary projects. She specialized in community engagement, organisational change and participatory approaches.
Edith integrates the GNH approach in her teachings as well as in her way of life. She became in September 2016 the Swiss coordinator of the Gross National Happiness movement. She is member of Eurasia Foundation since 2014.

Ursula Versteegen (PhD, M.P.H) is a co-founder of the Presencing Institute (M.I.T. Boston, USA), action researcher and practitioner of the social technology described as "Theory U" by C.O.Scharmer. She supports leaders in shaping social innovation and creating change processes throughout society in business, education, health care and organic agriculture by tapping into and shifting the quality of awareness in themselves and social fields. Ursula is also a co-founder of the Institute for Mindful Agriculture seeking to re-connect agriculture, food producers and consumers towards a regenerative AG-FOOD economy. Dr. Russia Ha-Vinh Leuchter is a developmental pediatrician, currently Senior Doctor in the Development and Growth Department of the University Hospital of Geneva.
After training in pediatrics, she specialized in developmental pediatrics (Schwerpunkt) with an interest in both the normal development and its variations, as well as in developmental disorders. Since 2005, she has been involved in numerous research projects studying early development of the human brain, in particular the effects of prematurity, collaborating with Prof. P. Hüppi’s research group that applies quantitative and functional neuroimaging techniques to infants from birth onwards. She is currently leading a research project on the effect of a mindfulness intervention for teenagers born preterm, especially on their emotional regulation and cognitive abilities. Her second focus of research is understanding early crying behavior by understanding early sensory development of term born children and its relation to infant colics.
In her clinical work, she is a key element in the daily activity and the expansion of the “Centre du développement de l’enfant des HUG”. Her specialized clinical expertise includes developmental disorders at school age and early child behavior for sleep problems and crying in babies. She developed a clinical activity in both these two areas with strong collaboration with other specialists such as psychiatrists, neuropediatricians, and sleep specialists.
She is the co-founder of Association AGAThE, offering interdisciplinary care for children presenting complex neuro-developmental disorders based in Geneva.

Pierre Alain Girard is a lawyer and currently at the head of the heritage and sites office of the canton of Geneva.
After 15 years at the Geneva Bar, he entered public service in 2007 with the firm desire to serve the public interest and bring a humanist vision of public action.
He held several senior staff and public policy positions before taking over cultural heritage in 2019.
He discovered Gross National Happiness during a seminar in Bhutan given by Ha Vinh Tho, then Director of Programs at the GNH Center Bhutan.
A graduate and member of the scientific committee of the Certificate of Advanced Studies “Happiness in Organisations” Geneva School of Management (Haute Ecole de Gestion), he is an ambassador for Gross National Happiness within the Geneva cantonal administration and beyond, as well as within the Happy Schools – INSPIRE project led by Edith Favoreu in Switzerland.
He has been a member of the Eurasia Foundation Board since 2021.

Khanh is the official Eurasia representative in Vietnam. He studied special education during four years, from 1998 to 2002 at Perceval Foundation, in St Prex, Switzerland. Since he came back to Vietnam in 2002, he has supervised a great number of Eurasia projects. He is active with training and following the educational staff in Hue.
He is in charge of an office of early detection and parental advice in Saigon. He completed his own training by following a course in early intervention in Geneva University Hospital.
Khanh is an ELI trainer and currently working on the Happy Schools project in Hue. He is also contributing to the Happy Organisations project in Vietnam. He lives with his wife and his lovely daughters and son in Saigon.

Phan To Trinh is a Vietnamese educator and a social pioneer in the field of special education and social therapy. After her university studies, she worked in tourism industry and in the field of development with an international NGO. But her passion was education and she became a teacher. She was selected in the first group of teachers to undergo training in Special Education with Eurasia Foundation and became a pioneer in this field, creating the first classes of “responsible inclusion” for children with intellectual and emotional disabilities in Hue. She has been granted several national awards for her educational achievements. She works in Thuan Thanh School, Thuan Thanh school is one of Eurasia’s pilot projects in partnership with Hue City Education Department.
She was instrumental in creating the first intentional community in Vietnam in social therapy: the Peaceful Bamboo Family, an eco village that created the first biodynamic garden in the country, inspired by the Camphill Movement and the Gross National Happiness development paradigm. She is currently the co-director of this community and is also the coordinator of the Happy Schools project, a groundbreaking educational project bringing social and emotional skills to all public schools in the Hue province.
She comes to the Perceval Foundation in St Prex regularly to connect with the work of Eurasia Europe. She is a very dynamic woman who supervises and advises our staff in many ways. She is a member of the Eurasia and TTG direction boards.

Hai Nguyen Phuoc is a Project Manager of Eurasia Foundation & Association. His work with Eurasia spans the fields of education, special education, social therapy, ecology, and Gross National Happiness – GNH. Eurasia Learning Institute for Happiness and Wellbeing (ELI) offers experiential programs leading participants from inner transformation to engagement for a happy and sustainable world.
Hai loves to connect people, and he helps Eurasia connect to many young people, NGOs in Vietnam and around the world to get in touch with the needs and aspirations of the younger generation.
Hai is Eurasia Learning Institute (ELI) representative leading the Happy Schools Project in Hue. Together with his team, ELI is developing a 3-year Happy Schools Project with Education Department of Hue Province.
The program has grown from 6 schools and 130 teachers with a focus on “Care for self, Care for others and Care for Nature”, to now 9 Schools with 240 teachers.
Hai is also involved in a three-year process to bringing happiness and wellbeing to the company culture of Biti’s, one of the leading shoe manufacturers in Vietnam.

Tu is the director of the Peaceful Bamboo Family (Tinh Truc Gia – TTG). Tu went to Le Béal, a camphill community in France several times, working there with adults living with disabilities and connecting different members of the Camphill movement worldwide.
He worked for two years at Long Tho Pagoda, Beloved School, with adults living with disabilities, opening the first jam workshop there. Together with Mr Minh Khanh Tran he supervised the construction of the Peaceful Bamboo Family. He now takes care of the wellbeing and daily management of the entire community.
He is a member of the Eurasia and TTG direction boards.
Together with his very dynamic wife Mrs Trinh and their two lovely daughters he lives in Hue.

She has been working with Eurasia Association since 2015 and she is Eurasia association President. Camille is a pedagogical assistant within the Eurasia Learning Institute for Happiness and Wellbeing (ELI) and spends most of her time conducting research for the HappySchools.ch/INSPIRE programme. She has been involved in the development and evaluation of the Happy Schools programme in Vietnam since its inception in 2018.
Camille is also the co-director of Centre AGAThE, an interdisciplinary support centre for children with complex developmental difficulties based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Julia Leyris is a project manager with Eurasia Learning Institute for Happiness and Wellbeing (ELI) and more specifically supports the operational coordination of the Happy Schools.ch/INSPIRE program. Her skills include project development, management, financing, and actions related to the dynamics of development of organizations and of relationships with national and international partners.
As a stage director and creator of multidisciplinary shows, Julia has been working with people of all ages for over 12 years in relation to the techniques of theatrical performance. She combines her experiential processes with the learning of social and emotional skills, in particular through breathing techniques, the use of the voice or body attitude, with the objective of developing one’s capacities, determination, energy and to improve one’s impact in their professional and personal life.
Long-term expatriate in Asia and Europe, Julia has always been interested in human relations and cultural diversity.
She is currently a psychology student, in the second year of her bachelor's degree at IED Paris 8. Holder of the Mindfulness Facilitator Certificate issued by Mindfulness Educator and approved by International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, she regularly leads Mindfulness practice sessions and talking circles in a setting combining security, confidentiality, respect and kindness. She also contributes to the organization of seminars related to the practice of living together, the creation of a collective energy of mindfulness, well-being, loving speech and deep listening, as well as eco-responsibility.

Having more than 8 years of experience in the private, para-public and non-profit organizations in the field of human resources, Katia believes that an environment oriented towards Happiness and well-being allows individuals to give the best of themselves and to contribute to the common success.

Philippe’s career with a recognized international organization - Médecins Sans Frontières - has enabled him to acquire solid skills in the fields of Management, Human Resources and Learning & Development.
Today he practices as senior consultant and his best areas of expertise are Coaching, Mediation, Facilitation, Training and Audit in the field of organizational change management.
His university curriculum is made of two complementary European Master's degrees. The first has been obtained at the Sorbonne University in Paris in the Department of Political Science, in the field of Strategic Project Management, and the second one at the University of Geneva, in Human Resources Management, whose thesis dealt specifically with the evolution of learning processes in organizations.
Philippe has then specialized with certifications in Corporate Coaching and Professional Mediation.
His career is made of four periods that feed on each other:
He first worked as a Manager of humanitarian programmes in complex international environments for several years, in countries such as South Africa, Afghanistan, Tanzania, South Sudan, Liberia and some more...
He then made a long-term and in-depth commitment to Human Resources where, after having held many managerial positions, he contributed to their development and professionalization. He headed the HR department of Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland for 3 years and joined the Executive Committee. The organization then had 1500 employees spread all over the world.
Then he became involved with determination, for 13 years, in the creation of "Learning and Development [L&D]". His investment and vision in talent development makes it a major and strategic institutional focus for Médecins Sans Frontières. The L&D cluster is thus recognized for the quality of its innovative learning systems.
Finally, he now devotes himself to individual and collective coaching and organizational transformation. He develops a holistic approach and innovative learning and transformation processes that enable reconnection to one self, to others and to the personal and professional environment. His practice, based on listening and caring, places people at the heart of his approach.

Mrs. Loan Tran is a dedicated happiness advocate with a rich educational background. Holding a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi and pursuing a Master's in Educational Psychology, Loan combines economic insights with a deep understanding of human psychology.
As a Trainer at ELI, Loan has been instrumental in sharing the transformative power of happiness skills. With a passion for fostering well-being in educational system, she also leads the Happy Schools project in Hanoi, a testament to our commitment to creating joyful and enriching learning environments for the teachers and students.

La Thanh Ha received Fulbright scholarship of U.S government in 2020 and graduated from the Master's program in Family and Child Study at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, US) in 2022.
She also is certified as Circle of Security trainer (the program supports parents to self-reflect on their parenting practices based on Attachment Theory). Currently, Ha is a member of the Happy School project coordination team in Hanoi and is also a children's book author.

HOANG Thao
Thao Hoang has been working at the intersection of environment and education, previously in academic research and environmental NGOs in Canada and Vietnam.
Since her encounter with teachings on mindfulness and social engagement, Thao has been on a journey to find like-minded communities to work in and explore deeper the field of education through multiple lenses: as a teacher in public schools for two years, now as a project coordinator and facilitator in ELI Happy Schools team, and always as a self-directed learner on her own inner transformation journey.
She enjoys music practices, and is now training in the Dances of Universal Peace. Thao is based in Hanoi, but she is grateful to grow kinship with like-hearted brothers and sisters all over Vietnam and overseas through the Eurasia network.
